Practice encourages childhood immunisation
and in addition to immunisation services for babies and pre-school
children, we also offer a full range of vaccines for patients travelling
abroad on holiday or for business purposes.
In order to ensure that our patients are given
the best possible advice and protection during visits overseas,
we stock a comprehensive Travel Pack which can be purchased prior
to leaving the country. The pack contains a selection of items for
use in emergency. This Travel Pack is accepted by the Customs and
Excise and can be carried in either hand luggage or suitcases. The
pack contains:

This pack is available from our Practice Nurse or
Reception staff upon request for approximately £12.00.
The practice uses TRAVELLER
SOFTWARE within each consulting room. This software provides
comprehensive up-to-date information about the country to be visited.
In addition it provides self help tips on diet, drink, potential
diseases and how to avoid them, money and even crime rates. Individual
customise print outs of relevant travel information can be supplied
upon request.
A copy of this software is also available on a stand
alone computer within the Waiting Room, strictly for patient’s
use and information.
