Certain surgical procedures are performed by the Doctors at the Medical Centre in our newly appointed Operating Theatre. Clinics are scheduled on a supply and demand basis strictly by appointment.

The Operating Theatre is a Sterile Field Area and as such patients are expected to wear appropriate Operating gowns during the procedure.

All medical equipment is sterilised at Chorley Hospital NHS Trust in compliance with the current Health and Safety legislation.

Wart Clinic

A Wart and Verruca Clinic is held at regular intervals in the surgery.

At this clinic warts and verrucae are removed by a process called Cryotherapy (a cold treatment used to freeze the wart/verruca)

Clinics are scheduled on a supply and demand basis strictly by appointment, and take place during morning surgery. Patients will be informed by letter when to attend.
