This
is a jointly clinic run by the Doctors, Health Visitors and Practice
Nurse. It is an open clinic; anyone with a child under school age
can attend without an appointment. Babies can be weighed and measured,
and the Health Visitor will see all parents to discuss their child’s
progress. Issues commonly raised at this time include nutrition,
breast-feeding, rashes, minor ailments, behaviour problems, development
and immunisations.

Clinic, we follow the following schedule for the Child Health Surveillance
check/ Immunisation Programme:
In addition to this service,
appointments are given for babies and children to have immunisations
and for the Doctor to carry out 8 week and 18 month developmental
checks. The practice Nurse administers immunisations.
