I started working at Kingsfold Medical Centre in January 2004, on a part-time basis. I have been a Practice Nurse and Midwife for 15 years at various practices around the South Ribble area and am still a practicing Midwife at the Sharoe Green Unit and Royal Preston Hospital.

Practice Nursing is very dynamic, and my role stretches across all age ranges in Health Promotion and cares.

Roles and Responsibilities

In addition to general practice nurse duties, I take an active interest in

• Asthma
• COPD
• Diabetes
• Well Man and Well Woman clinics providing help and advice as appropriate.
• Family Planning/Pre Conceptual Advice
• Travel immunisation and advice
